OUR TEAM
Paul Davies, Chairman
Paul is the Headteacher of Dylan Thomas Community School in Swansea. He has spent 25 years working is some of the most challenging and disadvantaged communities in Wales. In 2023 Paul, working with 8 other Heads, devised the SWP to foster change and deliver improvement for schools and to work with Heads of a similar mindset to his own, i.e. Leaders who want to work collaboratively and make a difference!
Since then Paul has maintained the role of Chair of partnership but feels that the greatest strength of the SWP is the fact that all partner schools have a role and part in deciding our direction and way or working. It is his hope that in time more and more schools will benefit from working with the partnership and that as a partnership we can have a voice in driving educational change in our country and look at ways and means to improve the system, which is much needed.
